This week is the last week of early voting in the Democratic primary! Let’s show up and show out at the Citizens Service Center on 3111 Citizens Way to cast our early votes for our Democratic candidates before 7pm on Friday, May 18.

If you need to find who is running for your Democratic nomination in Columbus, our full list is here at muscogeecountydems.org. Please be sure to select a Democratic ballot to cast your vote.

Also, be sure to answer all four questions on the Democratic ballot:

  1. Should the sale and distribution of bump stocks be prohibited in the state of Georgia?
  2. Should Georgia pull down our federal tax dollars to save rural hospitals and create more than fifty thousand jobs by expanding Medicaid?
  3. Should Georgia allow voters to elect our own representatives by amending our Constitution to place the power of drawing district lines under the authority of an independent, non-partisan commission?
  4. Should Georgia alleviate traffic congestion, reduce carbon emissions, and better connect communities by investing a substantial amount of existing tax dollars in mass transit?

After Friday, your final chance to vote in the Democratic primary is May 22 at all polling stations throughout Columbus from 7am to 7pm. We encourage all who are voting to beat the primary day traffic and cast your vote this week if you have yet to do so.
